We're finally entering the 21^st century! I am happy to announce St. Mary's of Redford's new website: www.stmarysofredford.com. Since communication is vital for all of us, our Christian Service Committee was pleased to provide this service. When you have questions about scheduling, parish calendar, upcoming events, fund raisers, who to contact for committees, worship services, Christian Service, and the Parish Office, simply refer to the website. Phone numbers to facilitate contact with the parish offices directly are included in this website.

 

As we represent one of the historical Catholic parishes in the northwest Detroit area, we are pleased to expand communication to the general public, as well as to provide service to our membership through this website. Prize:  $5,000  (or 20% of tickets sold if we do not sell allotment of tickets).
Note, only 500 tickets will be sold.

Cost:  $35/ticket
When:  May 5th.  Munchies/Cocktails (note cash bar) at 6:00 and dinner at 7:00.
Also, at the event we will have the drawing for the Big Spender Raffle.  There will also be a 50/50 raffle and tickets for several gift baskets.

St. Mary of Redford Youth Group will be selling 50/50 raffle tickets at Monaghan Council at the Friday Night fish fries.

They are raising funds to attend Rainbow Weekend and other activities. Please support these kids from SMR Parish. It is also the night of the Councils General Membership Meeting.

What is the First Friday Memorial Association?
The Association is a special offering made by the parishioners of St. Suzanne, St. Luke and St. Mary's of Redford, through which your intentions are remembered at a Mass to be celebrated each month throughout the entire year. The members of the Association are printed each week of the year in all three parish Sunday bulletins.

Why start such a memorial?
This Memorial fulfills many of your requests for monthly prayer for your special intentions or for those loved ones who are deceased; your intentions will be listed each week on the back of the parish bulletin; your offering of $60.00 per year helps to provide revenue for the parish, and to subsidize the bulletin publication.

What is the requested offering?
The church requests a yearly donation of $60.00 for the intentions to be remembered at this monthly Mass. Intentions will be printed each week for one year in all three Sunday bulletins. You are all welcome to attend the First Friday Masses and the Sunday Masses.

How do I list my intentions?
You may list your intentions as one individual name: Mary Jones; You may list family groupings: The Jones Family; you may not submit a litany of individual names or multiple families, space will not permit.

When will these masses begin?
We will begin the Masses in August. The "intention year" will once again be from August to August. And then we begin again. If you wish to continue having your intentions remembered at these Masses, you will be asked to renew with your donation each year.

How do I become part of the "First Friday Memorial Association"?
Fill out the application below, and return it to St. Mary's of Redford as soon as possible, with your donation.
